We see a remarkable difference in the students before being sponsored and after, and I'm sure you do too. Thank you for the difference you have made in the lives of these children. We all see the new hope in their eyes and smiles. — Pastor Ravi

This is the story of four young Jaipur children, Prahlad, Bhumang, Diksha and Manisha (both sponsored, graduated and presently attending a government school). When we opened the Children of Hope School, which is near their house, we used to see them looking out at our school. One day we talked with them, and we came to know that they are siblings, two sisters and two brothers. They do not receive proper daily meals to eat nor clothes to wear. Every day their mother goes to work loading vegetables into cartons. The father of the children is a gambler. He doesn't care much about his future nor that of his children.
We asked the children about their education, and they said, "Our parent (the mother) does not send us to school." Then we had a talk with their mother, and she said, "I am the only (one) who earns the money to run the family. My husband is gambler. I also want to see my children in school, but I don't have the money to admit them to your school. It is even hard to provide three meals a day to my children." After listening to her, we took the responsibility of giving her children an education and one good meal in the afternoon after class. The mother is happy we were able to help.
Prahlad and Bhumang are now attending a government school having passed the 6th standard at Children of Hope School. We are very proud of these two boys and their success. The photos on the left are of the boys in their new government school uniforms. You can compare the photos to see what a difference sponsoring has made in their confidence.
